UNIQUE REGIONTHE SOUTH OF JALISCOThere are two major tequila-producing regions in Jalisco: Los Altos (the Highlands) and El Valle (the Lowlands).
Azul Imperial explores a different region entirely. Our agave is cultivated in the southern reaches of Jalisco, near the foothills of the Colima volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in Mexico. This part of Jalisco carries a different rhythm. Hotter days, seasonal rains, and mineral-rich volcanic soil create an environment that shapes our agave in a distinct way. The combination of sun and rainfall provides an intensity that you won’t find in the Highlands or the Valley. This is our terroir. And it’s what gives Azul Imperial its bold, expressive profile. One that reflects not just how it’s made, but exactly where it comes from. |
